1. Why is Cirque du Soleil successful throughout the world? Why does the product transcend culture differences between countries? 

                           Cirque du Soleil is successful throughout the world becuse their show reflects many different cultural influences.

                           Because each performers represents their country as they perfom on the stage.

2. How do the cultural influences discussed in figure 4-1 influence organizational behavior at Cirque du Soleil?

                          

                           By means of Cirque du Soleil experiences people learned that in order to be successful they all should work together as one.

3. Why is it important for Cirque du Soleil to be a good corporate citizen? How does ethnocetricm relate to fulfilling this role?

                           Because they set as an example in the youth as well as the community.By means of the values they learned on how performer create a good act to entertain his/her audience.

PART 2 

        GENERATION NEXT CHANGES THE FACE OF THE WORKPLACE

1. Why is addressing this issue so important? Shouldn't worker adjust to meet the needs of their employers?

                           This issue is important because the workplace of the generation today is different from the past generation.

                            Workers should adjust to meet the needs of their employers and vice versa, employers should adjust also for the need of their employees because they are the one who worked to have profit/income for the company. 

2.What can employers who can't afford such extensive programs as the Deloitte organization do to address the changing preferences of their younger workers? What would you like to see your employers or prospective employer do to address your wants and needs to retain you?

                             

                             Set some company policies for the benefit of the employees and employer as well.

                             They should have better company policies regarding the benefits and incentives that i can get if i work for them.

         DESTINATION CEO: CLARENCE OTIS: DARDEN RESTAURANTS 

1. What prepared Clarence Otis for his position as CEO of Darden?


                                   I admired Clarice Otis because he started as a crew or server but he is determined ti his work even though her mother had very high expectation to him.He studying the different jobs and the exact nature of the work. He pursue to become a successful CEO of Darden. 

2. According to Otis, what is the key area for success for employees at the Darden company? 
 
                                 The key to success is to become responsible in all duties,have effort in all aspects and to remain relevant.

       ONE SMOOTH STONE

1. How much of a part can values truly play in the success of a company like One Smooth Stone?

                              I think the big part is the cultural values of the One Smooth Stone company because their own strategy to make it success and believes.

2. What characteristics of One Smooth Stone make it necessary to have a flat and decentralized structure as opposed to a rigid, command and control hierarchical structure?

                              I think the kind of satisfaction that received of the client in the organization and the extent of their involvement are strongly influenced by various aspects of the work environment.

PART 5
       LEADERSHIP: MAKING DECISIONS DURING HURRICANE KATRINA

1. What model of decision making did the Sisters of Holy Angels have to rely on to guide them through thee hurricane tragedy?

                             I think to analyzing,controlling and predicting because the four sisters have their own personality as a leader,they influence and directs others and motivate the people to follow them. The four sister have ability to secure and united effort of their followers.

2. What part do you think intuition and creativity played in each of the Sisters' stories? Explain how .
                    
                     Mary Kay Kinberger situation when she asked to lead the soldier in prayer to help those who were the first responders of the church and rescue effort  in New Orleans.That's why the military has become a ministry for the sisters and she has the ability to handle the people and encourage them and have ability to secure of his followers.

I understad that human resource management its consists of organizational activities to improve employee productivity and performance and it is the function within an organization that focuses on management of,and providing direction for the people who work in the organization and human behavior in an organization determines the quality of work and success of the organization,no machine and no computer can work by itself.

          I'm JOCELYN DELA CRUZ FRANCO ,27 years old,5'2 in height and 110 lbs. residing at Phase 3 Block 43 Lot 4 Tandang Sora St. Casimiro Town Homes Deparo Caloocan City.My Father's name is Luisito Franaco he is Tricycle Driver and my Mother's name is Lydia Franco she is plane housewife..I have two sisters there name is Jackielyn Franco and the youngest is Jennylyn Franco.My friends call me "JOCY'',I Like watching TV.,reading pocket books and surfing to internet. I love to eat  vegetables like eggplant and okra.

          I had an experienced working in the company since i graduated  in high school year 1999,because of financial problem i didn't continued my studies on college that time.I work as a factory worker and there so many rules and regulation to maintain that  i need to follow to prevent accident and problem inside the company.We need to be responsible and attentive when were doing our job to produce a good quality product.I continued working but when my eldest sister graduate in college and have stable job,i realize that its important to finished the study.She convinced me to continue my study in college,so.... Im here tried to pursue my goal and I hope that i will  finished my studies although im old to my all classmate.
